The key mindsets that make gender questioning and transition feel easier. So much attention is paid to bodily changes during transition. What about your brain? Learn how a few mindset shifts can help you transition with more ease. 
 
New ways to think about regret. Are you scared that you’ll regret transitioning? Does the uncertainty about what the end of this journey looks like feel paralyzing to you? Learn research-based information about what causes regret, how to avoid it as much as possible, and how to handle it if you feel it.  
 
At the end of this class, you will have some space to breathe. Y’all, transition is A LOT. It can feel hella intense and like you are drowning in all the changes. This workshop will introduce you to the tools you need to take a deep, life-giving breath.

Rae McDaniel (they/them) is a queer, nonbinary-identified Gender and Certified Sex Therapist, Coach, and Educator who works with folks feeling anxious and lost about a transition they’re experiencing in sex, gender, sexual identity, or relationships. 

Rae is the founder of Practical Audacity, a therapy and healing collective in Chicago, and GenderFck, an online group coaching program for Transgender/Non-Binary/Questioning folks who want to experience more ease and less suffering while transitioning their gender identity and expression. 

Rae holds a Master of Education in Community Counseling from DePaul University in Chicago and is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor in Illinois. Rae graduated from the University of Michigan’s Sexual Health Certificate Program with specializations in Sex Therapy and Sexuality Education and is a Certified Sex Therapist through the American Association of Sexuality Educators, Counselors, and Therapists.
